Gerald Kirkpatrick, AKA Gerry is the man with the plan.  With 15 years in the industry under his belt Gerry gets a kick from Kommand by creating a nimble team that will take Kommand to the top of the tree and challenge the naysayers.  He loves our industry for the evolution in technology and techniques year on year.  He blows off steam indulging in good food, a good drop and adventures with his family.

Angela (or Ange as she’s known to her friends & colleagues), is Kommand’s Office Manager, looking after all things administration.  If you’ve called the office you’ve most likely already met her!  Apart from hanging out with her husband & daughter, Ange’s enjoys interior design and catching up with friends over a glass (or two…?) of Prosecco.

Laken is our newly appointed Administration Clerk and is quickly learning the Kommand way.  She loves being a part of a supportive and like-minded team in an evolving industry and enjoys any challenge the team at Kommand throw at her.  Laken likes to spend her down time doing anything outdoors and especially loves camping with her mates.  A keen online shopper, she knows how to get a bargain and is always up to date on the latest trends.

Calvin has over 14 years experience in civil & heavy industries undertaking complex projects from frontline management, project management and brand redevelopment.  His varied experience includes day-to-day operations management, business development, estimating and sales forecasting.  As an SME, Calvin’s vast experience has seen him undertake the successful implementation of systems & processes to streamline operations and increase revenue. 

Aaron “MadDog” Coleman, brings over 10 years of industry knowledge and skills to keep parts, hire stock and spares flowing out the door. Kommand gives him a team of likeminded, hardworking individuals to have a laugh with. He loves the new challenges he gets to face each day. At home MadDog hits the backyard to exercise his green thumb while enjoying a fine whiskey.

Our resident Kiwi, Dwayne “The Bear” Unahi, is Kommand’s Business Development Manager, which means he’s your go-to guy for sales, working closely with our customers to ensure we’re delivering the highest-quality service. Dwayne is all about working hard at work, but knows how to kick back and relax, where you can find him hanging with his daughter out on the jet ski or cooking up a storm for his mates.

Our field guru Nathan “Bird” Burton brings nearly 20 years of fixing stuff to the table.  He loves working with the great people at Kommand and doing what he does best, keeping you on the job.  His favourite thing is watching a skilled grader operator precisely laying gravel and delivering results under pressure.  When the hi vis comes off, you can find “Bird” Netflix binging with a Bundy under his wing.

Cameron “Speedy” Crowden has fast become a reliable field technician in the Kommand team. With experience as a machine operator specialising in excavators, he’s turned his hand to GPS, and loves the supportive team atmosphere Kommand afford him. He’s constantly absorbing knowledge and has a passion for working on yellow iron. When he’s off the clock, Cam loves nothing more than to bundle his family onto his boat for some memory-making fun.

Lachlan “Lachie” Devanny is one of our Field Application Engineers, and is fast becoming a confident member of the Kommand Team. Learning on the job, Lachie handles anything from workshop repairs to onsite field work. Originally from the Gold Coast, Lachie loves sushi and pizza and walking his four-legged fur-child “Ellie”. He’s also always ready to go with his karaoke classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Trevor “Badger” Ross is one of our Field Application Engineers who combines his technical knowledge and hands-on skills to keep things running smoothly. After the hi-vis and boots are put away, you can find Badger enjoying the outdoors with friends or relaxing with a burger and fries watching the Melbourne Storm.

Roseanne Kirkpatrick, or “Rose” to the team keeps the doors open.  13 years of mustering cats and make sure the finances are kept on the straight and narrow make Rose the lynchpin of the team.  She’s the smiling assassin of accounting.  She loves being part of a tight team in an evolving industry.  Her down time indulgences mirror Gerry, with the important addition of Ugg boots.
